Chinese embassy: Chinese citizens should pay attention to the charging situation when entering and leaving Vietnam ports
Xinhua News Agency, Hanoi, April 10 (Reporter Le Yanna Tao Jun) the Chinese embassy in Vietnam recently sent a working group to visit Vietnam’s Mount Street and Friendship Port to learn more about the charges charged by the above ports for inbound and outbound Chinese citizens, and remind Chinese citizens to pay attention to the relevant charging situation.
It is understood that if Chinese citizens need to apply for a landing visa when entering Vietnam through Mount Street and friendship port, they need to pay the corresponding fee according to the regulations and the type of visa they apply.
When entering or leaving the country through the Mang Street port, you must pay the Port service fee. Among them, holders of border holders pay 5,000 Vietnamese dong (about 1.5 yuan) each time, holding passports, other certificates such as passes shall be paid 15000 Vietnamese dong (about 4.5 yuan) each time. The port service fee certificate of the port will be issued. There is no need to pay port service fees and other fees when entering or leaving the country through the Friendship Port. The relevant charging standards have been publicized in the prominent positions of the two ports in the bilingual and Chinese languages.
The Ministry of Consular Affairs of the Chinese embassy in Vietnam said that China and Vietnam have recently maintained good and close communication on regulating port charges. The head of the Vietnamese side told the working group of the Chinese embassy that the Vietnamese side did not allow the port staff to charge any fees other than the above fees, and the illegal charging personnel would be seriously dealt with once found. When Chinese citizens enter and leave the relevant ports, if any public official asks for tips or the tour guide leads incorrectly, they should refuse, and pay attention to keeping relevant evidence and safeguarding their rights rationally.
